Read the eight gravestones, calculate death year minus birth year, and select the symbols belonging to the three shortest lifespans. Use those at the coffin lock, then carry the relic back to the elevator to finish the floor and earn Festering Felix.

Work out your grave lock answer
- Enter Floor 3 from the theater elevator and find the grave room.
- Record each stone's symbol, birth year, and death year. Check all eight before choosing your answer.
- Subtract the birth year from the death year on each stone.
- Sort the eight results from smallest to largest.
- Use the first three stones' symbols at the coffin lock, starting with the shortest lifespan.
- Open the coffin, retrieve the relic, and escape through the elevator.

Read the years on your stone
In this recording, Oscar Lane's stone shows 1861–1892, so the lifespan is 31 years. Read the other seven stones before deciding whether that symbol belongs in your answer.
A worked example
These are invented numbers to demonstrate the calculation, not an answer for your game. Letters stand in for the symbols on your own stones.

The three smallest ages are 8, 12, and 19. In this example, the order is E, C, G. Stone F died earliest, but its 63-year lifespan keeps it out of the answer.
Why a copied code can fail
The numbers and symbol assignments can differ between runs. Write down each symbol alongside its years so you do not calculate the right age and then select the wrong icon. Use the values visible in your current attempt. Grave puzzle guide
Festering Felix and Biter Fedora are different rewards
Festering Felix comes from the theater's Floor 3 relic puzzle. Biter Fedora comes from the separate Demonology event quest. Opening the Floor 3 coffin does not complete the partner-game ritual. See the reward list for both routes.
The official Festering Felix badge confirms the reward name. Finish the relic return and check your avatar inventory before moving on.
Can I use the same answer after restarting
Read the stones again. A previous run's numbers are not a reliable answer for a new attempt.
